Intent to production.

cranbrain is a collection of tools built so that an intent — a ticket, a sentence of what should exist — becomes verified, running software without a human in the loop.

Products

Platforms

Kira

AI project management for agents and people: tickets, dispatch, a roundtable of personas, a wiki, and a merge queue that lands main only on evidence.

Go · PostgreSQL · NATS · React kira.sunj.dev
Shram श्रम

Browser-based cloud development platform: containerized workspaces, VS Code in the browser, live HMR preview, and an AI coding agent.

TypeScript shram.sunj.dev
ILC

Programmable terminal runtime for LLM agent sessions: every session is a program, observable and steerable from anywhere.

TypeScript ilc.sunj.dev

Trust and delivery

Landgate

The only writer of main. Branches are landed by the queue, never by hands.

Go
Sluice

Versioned, per-project gate runner for the merge queue. Commands come only from reviewed box config; a host fault is never the branch's fault.

Rust
Witness

Content-addressed UI state-graph regression witness. Deterministic, zero LLM calls; it cannot be talked into passing.

Go
Warden

Machine-attested test identities for end-to-end browser tests: ephemeral keys that exist for one run and are never written to disk.

Go

Tools and libraries

Hotstatic

HMR-grade hot updates for plain static websites: ~1 ms pipeline latency, never reloads the page, zero runtime dependencies.

Bun · TypeScript
Swarmcast

O(1)-origin WebSocket broadcast mesh for live agent sessions: watch, replay, and take control from any device.

TypeScript swarm.sunj.dev
Vitruv

Live, lag-free design-constitution annotation engine.

Rust · WASM
Tokenrate

Daily-refreshed LLM price catalog with a cost-estimate helper; refreshed by CI with no server and no API keys.

JavaScript
Routines

Declarative recurring task scheduler with built-in HTML reporting, as a single static binary.

Go
porkbun

Async Rust client for the Porkbun API (DNS, domains, SSL, forwarding) on rustls.

A short letter

Most software companies are organised around people typing. cranbrain is organised around intent.

An intent is small: a ticket, a sentence describing what should exist. Everything here exists to carry that sentence to production without a human in the loop, and to prove, with evidence rather than a green checkmark, that it arrived.

Kira holds the intent: the ticket, the queue, the proof. Shram and ILC are where the work happens, in a browser workspace and a terminal built for sessions nobody types by hand. Landgate, Sluice, Witness and Warden are the trust layer: one writer of main, gates it must listen to, a UI witness that cannot be argued with, identities that live for a single run.

The rest are the sharp small tools that fell out along the way. All of it runs in production on our own machines, and most of it is built by the system it describes.
